On 21 October 2025, Rapid Bio opened its production facilities at the Skolkovo Innovation Center to participants of the All-Russian scientific and practical conference with international participation “Current issues in the prevention of infectious and non-communicable diseases: epidemiological, organisational and hygienic aspects”, organised by the National Association of Specialists in Infection Control (NASCI).
Specialists, representatives of medical institutions and chief external experts from Russian regions were given an overview of Rapid Bio’s manufacturing capabilities and innovative solutions. The visit included a presentation from Vladislav Ivanov, Head of the Rapid Test Systems (IHA) Development Department, who outlined prospects for introducing new technologies into diagnostics.
In his talk, Vladislav Ivanov highlighted recent advances in rapid testing, including immunochromatographic assays, microfluidic lab-on-a-chip platforms and electrochemical detection for diagnostic chips. He also stressed the importance of integrating molecular biology into point-of-care solutions and discussed the role of PCR in modern diagnostics.
A welcome address was delivered by Evgeny Dimitko, Deputy Commercial Director for Strategy and Marketing at Rapid Bio and Associate Professor at the Department of Marketing of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation. He underlined the value of knowledge-sharing for the development of the sector and noted that Rapid Bio’s innovations help bring advanced medical technologies into everyday healthcare practice.
The visit was also attended by Roman Polibin, Russia’s chief external epidemiology specialist, who stressed the importance of such events for improving diagnostics and prevention of infectious diseases nationwide.
Rapid Bio thanked NASCI for its cooperation and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting scientific and educational initiatives aimed at enhancing diagnostics and expanding access to modern medical solutions across Russia.
